After more than a year of hard work, ValidaTek was successfully appraised at CMMI Level 4 for Services this September!
At CMMI Maturity Level 3, processes are well characterized and understood but are only qualitatively predictable. An appraisal at CMMI Maturity Level 4 indicates that processes are controlled through statistical and other quantitative techniques, and are quantitatively predictable. This quantitative analysis allows management to identify ways to adjust and adapt without a measurable loss of quality.
ValidaTek is now one of a handful of companies worldwide to obtain this achievement. Being assessed at this level will help ValidaTek continually improve our services internally and externally while also allowing us to standout from competitors when recompeting existing contracts and bidding on new contracts.
ValidaTek Senior Management thanks Emily Gallo, Megan Findlay Bailey, and especially the project team members (Tasha Anderson, Marion Woodland, Andrew Curtiss, Alan Bondzio, Joe Peculic, John Verprauskus, and many more) for all of their contributions to this effort and its’ success. Having institutionalized processes, solid project management, and a strong team were crucial to our success during this appraisal. The appraisal team noted this also and highlighted the strength and dedication of the project teams. Our appreciation goes out to all that were involved in making this effort a success!
