On September 25, 2017, ValidaTek received an award from the United States Coast Guard (USCG), a component within the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), to provide Unclassified and Classified Engineering, Operational, and Intelligence Systems Support, to include integration, sustainment, and development of the Coast Guard Intelligence Enterprise (CGIE) for the Intelligence Data Service (IDS). ValidaTek will be responsible for providing systems engineering, design, operations, and maintenance for (i) the Maritime Awareness Global Network (MAGNet) enclave, a highly-complex, engineered Oracle Supercluster system and data exchange storage, which is the core of the IDS environment, (ii) the Web-Enabled Temporal Analysis System (WebTAS) for collaborative, multi-organization data exploitation and analysis within the enterprise architecture, and (iii) the Enterprise Insight Analysis (EIA) Core for piecing together disparate data into a single cohesive maritime domain awareness picture. The scope of our work will also include modernization of the CGIE, including development of identity access management solutions, and provisioning of data streams and their respective delivery methods. This is a great win for ValidaTek. It represents our first contract with the USCG, first Intelligence-related support services contract, and following on the heels of our TSA win earlier this year, expands our footprint and the support services we provide across DHS. Congratulations to everyone who contributed to this amazing win!
