Employee Appreciation Day: 6 moments that embodied our culture

Happy Employee Appreciation Day! Today, we reflect on 6 special moments that brought our community together and inspired us as a team. One of our key priorities as a company is to build meaningful connections among our teams, and keep them.

 

1. Celebrating military heroes and our veterans – We showed appreciation for our veterans and military heroes by recognizing and celebrating each branch’s birthday at ValidaTek HQ. 

    

2. Giving back to the next generation – We volunteered with Junior Achievement throughout 2024 to provide meaningful real-world learning experiences to the younger generation.  

    

3. Spreading holiday cheer to local families – During the holidays, we came together to bring joy to our community by providing gifts to families through the Fairfax Department of Family Services.

    

4. Collaborating with our federal partners – We shared insights and participated in conversations on securing our nation’s future in cyber space with DoD and FedCiv leaders, and with other industry experts at AFCEA TechNet and other industry networking events.

    

5. Celebrating the little (and big!) things – From our ugly holiday sweater contest to a baby shower at HQ, we came together to recognize our people for their achievements at work, and at home. 

    

6. Building a sense of belonging – Our summer picnics and annual holiday parties remind us of how truly special our teams are, and give us an opportunity to show our appreciation to each individual’s role in moving our company forward.
